that's what I use, and love it. WHat didn't you like about it?

are all sorts of items under the events section of Adium preferences
that you can
Ichat does not create accounts for you on any chat servers. If you
don't have the account, you won't be able to set it up in Ichat.
There should be a status button near the top of your screen that might
say disconnected, or connected, or whatever. If it doesn't say
Connected or Surfing
No, your mac.com account should work just fine. I have added you to
my buddy list. You will find me with the aim screen name of kc4gfr.
