Hi,
I've just updated to Yosemite and am having a bit of trouble with iTunes.
How do you see songs in your playlists? I can select the playlist in the table,
but can't find the actual songs.
I'm not finding these iTunes changes particularly wonderful, as it's slower to
navigate around, but I
Hi folks,
I am about to throw this computer across the room. I am trying to use Itunes as
it is layed out in Yosemity. There seems to be no more sidebar allowing me to
get to artist, album or song.
If this is what Apple calls progress, I will sell this thing go back to buggy
windows. It can’t
Hi,
To get some semblance of the sidebar back at least for music, go to the “my
music” radio button. First click the “music” radio button at the top of the
screen, then check “My Music”. Then, VO right to the next radio button, which
should be playlists. Once you do that the sidebar will be

Apple. I've always trusted them. Their most recent iOS releases garbage, this
release for their Mac doesn't seem to be a whole lot better. I would almost
rather fight with windows then deal with a company I am
Putting one's trust in a for profit company is foolhardy.

Hi!
OK I'm still on Mavericks and my iTunes updated itself to that layout I had a

But it might be me and I've never used windows but I like the new iTunes That

I agree that they APPEAR to be sliding in terms
Interesting how one blind person says the iOS is garbage and Yosemite is close
to that too while another blind person is enjoying the new features and using
both while acknowledging some bugs and changes. What this tells me is that
while there are real accessibility issues, at least some of
Yes, this is what I found too. It's true you can't really do the sidebar with
sources like you used to but while that has been available, it hasn't been
the default for quite a while.

Well, I personally found Windows Ribbon to be even more frustrating.
Apparently, in both cases, the new design is better for sighted users.

Pretty good perspective. It does come down to one's ability to deal
with things. Thise who know HOW to work with or around issues are not
the ones who go on rants but rather, tyey are the ones who assist the
ones who struggle.
Another point you touch on is 'what we are used to'. Change

10] command0 for iTunes!

Hi, maybe I can offer some tips on navigating the new layout. :) Keep in
mind, I've only been playing with it today.
You can navigate between music, movies, podcast, tones, etc. by command-1,
command-2, and so on. Go to the view menu bar to learn the command-number
options. I just learned
Well, I am sorry the sidebar is gone. I know I put it back when I had that
option. And I have not updated to the latest iTunes. As far as the windows
ribbon being better for the cited, I'm not so sure. I believe I read recently
that the old-style menus are making a comeback in Windows 10.
