Hello, Under Lion I had a Logitech wireless head set with a mic. I could use either the headset or the keyboard to adjust system volume.
I switched to Mountain Lion. I hadn't bothered using the Logitech head set until recently. I now have the following situation: As long as the head set is connected I have full head set and keyboard control of system volume. When the head set is disconnected, I lose keyboard control of volume and muting. Incidentally, when I boot this iMac under Vista the volume control problem does not exist.
