I just downloaded mactubes last night, but when I performed a search, for some
reason, I can't seem to be able to open the results that popped up.
I tried pressing return on them, which did nothing, and command+o just
prompted me to enter a url for the video itself, so now I'm stumped.

I think I did try that, and if I remember correctly, I couldn't get that to do
anything either.

Try just regular space, no vo keys. I've had trouble lately getting that app to
play anything, but a new windows should open at least. Close that with cmd-w
when you are done, or use space to play/pause the video.
