HI,
What I do is highlight a tweet from the contact I want to message, then hit
Command-D. That will put you in the message window where you can start typing
your message. You won't see the @ sign with the contact's name, but when you
send it, the message will be sent to your contact.

hey all how do you send a direct message to some one nambu? i select
send direct message from the context menu but nothing happens!
