Hmmm, I am not sure I understand what you mean when you say you cannot OCR within the app. I can OCR within prizmo. If you did not OCR in prizmo than how did you OCR with Prizmo to compare to abbyy? :) I was hoping Prizmo was a good trade off because the price for Prizmo was quite a bit less

Hi, I am barely fiddling with the mac app but I figured out how to do a scan. If you go to file and click on new, then VO around in the window that opens up until you hear something like import from camera and scanner. Select that than VO and interact until you find the name of your scanner. I

William, I cannot speak for ABBYY as I have never used it. Nor, can I offer much info about prizmo as I am very new to prizmo 2. I have a little bit of experience. I was able to use my scanner directly from prizmo. I scanned a two page paperback book and the results were good. I was able to
