How do you take that out properly? I've tried to do that sense I started to figure that may have been the case, sense it feels like the rubber casing is looser on the side it chipped on now, but can't figure out how to get the phone out of it. Is it comon for those to break like that? I

I can’t imagine metal chipping off a persons phone is necessarily normal. Especially since you have it in a case which limits some of the natural wear and tare put on the device. Only thing I can think is, there was some dirt or dust in the case that over time wore away at the metal band

I just got my 4S a little over a year ago I think it's been now, and have been using an otterbox defender case with it, and took it out of its holster this afternoon when I heard this weird sound that sounded like someone stepping in a spot of cement that had sand on it. So at first I thought
