accessibility settings. also how do you map a key to the mute speech?
Ideally, I would like to mute the text for a window only. But this is a tall
ask.

Is there some way that I can create a shortcut to mute speech when I'm using my
Braille Display? I'm not sure if I have a multi touch trackpad or not.
My macbook is a white macbook 2009 model I think.

Hi,
As far as I know, there is not. Suppose you could probably use keyboard
commander for this, though, since it's listed.

Hi,
I think she means muting VoiceOver speech. You have a speech toggle, sound
toggle and a VoiceOver mute function, whic will mute everything of VoiceOver.

Hi,
Yeah, but doesn't that mute literally everything? I thought you just wanted
speech off. In my case, it mutes everything. That's what the subject says,
anyway.

Hi,
Nope. Keyboard commander can take care of it, or if you have a trackpad, a

also set commands for muting speech only, or VoiceOver sounds. I'm referencing
