Thanks for the suggestions. However:
1-being relatively recently blind, i haven't had much time learning braille as
my disability is related to trauma and only went for fundamentals, and i'm too
slow for anything on that front.

Okay, how about another approach. Go through with a find and replace,
function and replace all the examples of Theta or Iota or Nu or whatever with
the words theta, iota, nu. This is your copy of the textbook, you can
mark it up however you want.

even less than 10% in some cases of those experiencing
True, a small percentage of blind people use braille. However, as much as 90%
of blind people employed today are Braille users. I would recommend anyone
who cannot use print to learn braille. I learned braille as an adult because I
am newly blinded too. it has given me many more opportunities
