yeah. I get that on some sites as well using safari. Part of it is probably improper web code or use of non-standard html tags. Btw, have you tried edge on the gmail website set in basic html mode? If the problem shows up there, then it’s likely edge that’s the problem. Then again, Microsoft

Hmmm, that’s news to me. The last time I tried Firefox on OS X Catalina it turned out be very frustrating. Are there any settings I should be aware of to make it easier to use? Thanks, -Eric > On Dec 11, 2021, at 3:48 PM, 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries > wrote: > > > On 11/12/21 15:29,

Good place to use the item chooser. In the list of threads quadruple tap with three fingers. This should bring up the item chooser and then type "unread" in the search field. If you have a bluetooth keyboard that is paired with the phone, then use control-option-I to start the item chooser.

Eric, Thanks for the suggestions. My problem with MS-Edge is that I can’t navigate tables at all. When one shows up all I hear is the Table with x rows and y columns. Dave Carlson Woodworker, Oregonian, Pioneer, Musician, Engineer, and Farfar On Dec 11, 2021, at 12:29 PM, Eric Oyen wrote:

Having trouble with MS-Edge lately. Not too thrilled with Safari and how chatty it is when filling in logon and passwords. What other browsers are you using with any success? Dave Carlson Oregonian, Engineer, Musician, Farfar, Woodworker, and Pioneer -- The following information is important

Google chrome seems to work ok, although it doesn’t poll the keychain access file for passwords (it tries to store them internally). On sites where some of the elements aren’t workable in safari, chrome might work (although this is hit or miss a lot of the time). Oh, and forget about Firefox

Okay, just installed Firefox on my Mac. Only major problem I have so far is that I cannot do a Option-Control-F find using Firefox. I think I remember this way back in the Windows/JAWS days. Is there a way to adjust Firefox so that I can use the VO find function? Dave Carlson Oregonian,
