I’d just like to point out that whilst I reside in the UK, I have a local
telephone number for the Apple support team. If I call that, my call will go
to the USA and my number to them is a free local number. So anyone who thinks
that they can’t get apple Accessibility support look

My error for saying you needed to click the lock. I was thinking you were in
the Security and Privacy section of System Preferences.
That's what happens when I go through email quickly on my phone.

My suggestion is to go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts, and delete
the account, or accounts, that are having an issue. Then, recreate the
account, and enter the necessary information.
