As an alternative, if you do not want to select and copy the entire message, 
you can navigate using the down arrow key to the point at which you would like 
to begin copying content, and then hold down the Shift key, while continuing to 
press the down arrow key, until you reach the end of the content you wish to 
copy, and then press CMD + C.

I didn’t think this was possible anymore.  They used to without me needing to 
use the VO commands, but this feature seems to have broken after the release of 
Ventura.
