Just Press Record is great for an easy, no frills recording app. You can
use the magic tap to start and stop recording and all recordings are
available to play right in the app. It also has a great Apple watch app
that literally starts recording as soon as you open it.

Hi Phil, I like using the Voice Memos recorder. It is very easy to use.

Hi all,
Due to our incredibly lousy internet service, I decided to rent a mini from my
employer. They sent an Orbic Speed, and it turns out you have to use the
display screen to do absolutely everything. Does anyone know if there is a
wifi device that is more accessible?
TIA,
Donna

Hello Donna,
I have used a mifi device before. I'm not sure what you're trying to
do, but if all you are trying to do is to get connected with it, then
there should be a button to turn it on and the name/password of the
device will be displayed on the screen.
You could then use a visual
It looks like, with this particular device, in order to connect a device, you
have to select it from a menu system on the display of the MIFI. I guess I was
expecting to be able to connect from the device, just like I would to a
wireless network.
Cheers,
Donna

Ah, yes, the user name / password! I think mine was written on a sticker on
mine.
I remember the IP address being displayed from the menu though.
Cheers!

Donna, that sounds like a nightmare!
I’m not sure what the current crop of Jetpack’s do to establish a connection
but I’m imagining what you’re describing with your device is really a security
measure.
If you still need any more details on this device, just let me know, otherwise,

most of the time I use Rec Up or whatever it’s called. it used to be dropvox.
the reason I like it is that it sends the recording to dropbox and then you can
do anything with the recording that you want. of course you have to have
dropbox for it to work. it’s extremely easy to use.

Yes Lori, I use RecUp too. But I want to be able to play back immediately
without having to go into the dropbox files folder and find the recording.
Maybe I’ll check out that voice memos built-in app it’s been a while since I’ve
looked at it.

I’m looking for a simple, no-frills recording app for the iPhone. Just a
straightforward record/playback type of app that is easy and uncomplicated to
use. Any suggestions?

Hi Donna,
Not sure if this will help, but I’ve used a couple of these over the last 12
years or so.
I have an older Verizon Jetpack now. You should be able to log on to your
device like you would with any other router, once you have its IP address.
It’s been several years since I configured
Hi Lori, I don't know if this has been fixed. But there is an unsubscribe
button, when you're listening to a video from a particular channel. Just double
tap on that and you should be able to unsubscribe just like you subscribed.
