Ray told me. you go to system prefs and find it in the accessibility table. in
IOS it's in accessibility but not in voiceover. I had to go down past there
into "hearing" to find it.

Hi Simon,
Well my Siri is working for dictation and all that’s for a good thing. Just my
HomePod has taken a serious vacation. Ironically, I can ask my Amazon devices
to play stuff on Apple Music and it works fine. They just don’t sound as good
as the HomePods.

Hi Mary,
Not with the home pod as we don't have them in NZ but my apple watch s4 has
been doing the same thing to me over the passed couple of weeks,
Including not taking dictated messages or actioning requests for things even
such as start a workout.
Odd I think

I have an absolutely no luck today getting Siri to play anything on my
HomePods. I can hand off from my phone, but if I ask her directly on the
HomePod to play some album or other that I know is in Apple Music or in my
iTunes library, she has said she can’t find it every single time. Seems to
Accessibility / voiceover AD if I remember correctly,
Yeah I found it when not looking for it but it makes a difference.

I’m guessing you mean a setting to get Audio description automatically if it is
available on a movie? The answer is yes but I ju st can’t remember where to go
to turn it on at this point.

I only have prime as I got a free 12 month account when I signed up to my
current ISP.
I do find some troubles with it in some ways but I can't say it's not
accessible

Yes. IF you go in to the accessibility pannel off system prefs, you will
notice a table. Choose the “description” option from this table and make sure
it’s checked.
