Re: Parler Social in Safari accessibility

2020-06-21 Thread Eric Oyen
I gave up on it because of the captcha. I have no visual help here. There have
been numerous attempts by me to contact the company that created the Parler
network, but all they have are online forms that also use a visual only
captcha. Seriously, for a social network that wants everyone to join, they are
doing a good job of locking out the blind.

Btw, I tried on chrome, safari, Firefox and even Microsoft edge on windows. No
way around the captcha and the app isn’t helpful on the iPhone either as a
captcha is required there too. g.

Re: questions about using the Numbers app on iPhone

2020-06-21 Thread Jonathan Cohn
These questions sound like they are all doable, but I have never used the IOS
version of numbers. You should be able to save numbers into dropbox as long as
you have the dropbox app, just click the share button.

If you want some help with this, I be willling to assist.

Best Wishes,
Jonathan Cohn

Re: Microsoft Teams

2020-06-21 Thread Jonathan Cohn
I have to use MS Teams for quite a few things at work. I am switching
consistently between the Windows, iPhone and Macintosh version.
First off, when Teams creates a notification window, that is totally
inaccessible on the Mac, and might also be on the Windows. IT is so bad, that
the only way I can get back to the main electron screen is to click on the
Teams app in the dock.

Most useful of shortcuts is
command-shift-F which is control-shift-F on windows, will move you to the
filter recent list of items on the current tab. You can then either type in a
filterring item or press up and down arrow keys to review. In the chat panel,
this will be your conversations to a specific person or group. You will also be
told there if the person is available. If you just want to quickly switch
between a couple different chats, option-up and option-down will quickly do
this.
My other major complaint with teams is that it does not use the notification
center in MacOS.

Parler Social in Safari accessibility

2020-06-21 Thread 'Andrew Lamanche' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

Does anyone use Parler Social on the mac via safari? i’ve just signed up to it
but it’s really hard to use. There was also a captcha without audio
alternative & I had to use sighted help to sign up. Any experience or tip
would be helpful.

Thank you

Andrew
