The only thing I can think of to try is to uninstall Word and reinstall it. I
haven’t had a chance to do that yet but may give

The original DOCX document that I opened was likely created on a PC, so I
created a new document on my Mac using Word, then pasted content into it. All
worked as it should. I also saved a TextEdit document as a Word document with
positive results. The only difference was that Word
I am also experiencing this only mine isn’t saying one visible line. Otherwise,
it will not differentiate between lines. I am using a 2019 Intel Macbook pro
with the latest Monterey. The documents in question were created using Word and
they display just fine in Text Edit.

There's the Google Chrome browser, if you need a browser to access
content you will then cast to a device in your room. The Cast options
are a submenu under View under VO+m.
I believe there's a Chrome Cast extension for Safari as well, but I
haven't any direct experience of that one.

your wanting to watch. Filebrowser would give you the ability to watch
files from your device.
