Re: Concerning Special Characters
Well, in the text area of the Keyboard panel of System Preferences there are several options. “(“ “c” “)" changes to © the equivalent with a t will put in a trademark. For that matter the option key with other alphanumeric keys will produce quite a bit of special characters, for the sighted one can look at the input sources area of system preferences but and press modifier keys to see how they change keyboard input. The accent keys are a bit special for example pressing option-e followed by e gives you é (e accent accuse ) MacOS has smart quotes on by default but they might be turned off in mail. While in the text input area pressing vo-shift-M and select substitutions and there you should be able to adjust some things. Voiceover reads Subject before Sender in Outlook message list
Hello all, I’m currently having a strange problem, where Voiceover seems to be reading things in a different order from how they are displayed on screen. In Outlook for Mac, when navigating the message list, Voiceover always reads each message header by an order my brain always finds strange: Subject, Sender and then Date. This is despite the fact that, to a sighted person, the message list appears with the columns by the order I want: From, Subject and then Date. Anyone else has this problem? Is there a known fix for this? I’m using Microsoft Outlook for Mac version 16.65, running MacOS 12.6 on a MacBook Air M1 2020 Thanks in advance, André -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Scrolling through categories in the music app on the mac.
Hi! In the music ap on the Mac if you have the Apple Music account there’s a browse section where you can brows by categories. When I am browsing through the categories I can only brows until I come to like French music or something like that, then I am stuck. I try to scroll to the next page but it does not seem to work for me. Any ideas on this? /A -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
