I do the same.
I believe a clean start is the best way to go.
I also keep my important documents in iCloud, and once I sign into my Apple ID
account, all my stuff is there.
I also use Dropbox, but that is mostly how I exchange files with various groups
with which I collaborate.
Then, I install
I’ve got a keyboard new to me anyway that plugs in. It’s said to be a good
substitute for a magic keyboard. I plugged it in and pressed vo-k to explore
it. To the right of escape is F14 then F15 which also appear elsewhere. There’s
an up arrow in the row and some keys to control playing
When I bought my 14-inch MacBook Pro, I started afresh. I copied over important
files, but I installed all of the software new.

Stage Manager is one of the new features in Ventura. I tried it out but
couldn’t figure out if it was useful to VO users. So far I got it activated but
not to work. At least not using VO.
So, has anyone tried Stage Manager in conjunction with VoiceOver? Is it of any
use for us?
