Re: Chat GPT, Anyone?
I haven’t tried it but I’m wondering if it could format a book for Kindle something you might normally hire a copy editor to do. I’d have to get somebody sighted to look it over and see what kind of job it did. > On Jul 10, 2023, at 9:39 PM, M. Re: Chat GPT, Anyone?
I use it regularly and it works really well, though it has limits. I use it to help with writing, sometimes to help with programming, to brainstorm ideas, etc. It’s definitely insane how far things have come in such a short time. BTW you don’t necessarily need the app: there is a web interface as well. > On Jul 10, 2023, at 10:39 PM, M. Re: Chat GPT, Anyone?
Hi, I don't have it but one of my colleagues at work does and we've played around with it. I've seen it do anything from write a song to plan a 3-day tour of San Francisco to write a scary good outline of a speech on universal accessibility and only take a couple of seconds for any of them. I also saw a demonstration a while back of the AI ability for Be My Eys that is still in beta. It did a great job not only describing a picture but you could interact and ask follow-up questions. I keep saying that as a blind person I'm pretty exçited about what this technology can do but as a human I find it pretty scary. Chat GPT, Anyone?
Hello All, Just so you know, I am posting this to both lists. So I keep running into all kinds of news articles on Chat GPT, a product from the Open A I project. Has anyone downloaded the app from the App Store and, if so, are you finding it as amazing as some of the news reporters from USA Today and the Wallstreet Journal? I went to the website at chat.openai.com to see what I could find. I did not find much; I'll have to download the app to really check it out. Oh, the article I read today, in the Apple News app talked about how Chat GPT planned the writer's vacation itinerary and did a pretty good job of it, apparently. I look forward to reading your replies, Mark -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Re: mac apps
There are plenty online converters. What do you think of using one of them? On 7/10/2023 5:00 AM, Lorie McCloud wrote: is there a place where the mac apps are stored that you’ve bought or downloaded?
