Re: Apparent E-Mail Corruption

2018-08-19 Thread Karen Lewellen

I would add, consider the sources.
as noted below, those sending false e-mails, bugs, etc., are getting more
and more sophisticated.

Especially as your e-mail address becomes a part of public records.
If you have a spam filtering program, use it on the e-mail if possible
before removing it.

As for if I at least am getting these...scores daily smiles.

Re: Apparent E-Mail Corruption

2018-08-19 Thread David Chittenden
Either, it is an HTML message which only has graphics (the text is a graphic),
or the email is a scam if the message is completely unrelated to the subject
matter.

Apparent E-Mail Corruption

2018-08-18 Thread 'Bill Gallik' via MacVisionaries
I have a couple of questions concerning what appears to be e-mail corruption.

What is happening is that a subject line may read something that I find quite
interesting, but when I hit the key to read the message is completely
unrelated to the corresponding subject line. As if that isn’t bad enough, the
resulting message appears to be raw HTML coding. My questions are:

1) Is anyone else experiencing this?

2) Can anyone explain what is causing this and, possibly, how to eliminate it?
