help adding identity to onePassword

2015-10-12 Thread Christina C.
Hi,

In onePassword, I went to file, new, then identity. I found the table where I
add my name and such. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to
get into the fields and enter my information. I’m in the main Password app, not
the mini or the web extension.

I’d appreciate any help with this.

Christina

Hi!

When interacting with the details table, you can use VO-left and right to get
to the appropriate field, then interact with it to edit. For instance, there
are sections for different kinds of information, like identification. Below
that, you will see First Name. Interact with that, then VO-right to enter your
name. Keep doing this for each one. You can also tab through them, although the
labels do not read with VoiceOver this way.

Going to file a request to see if something can be done about that. I've always
done it by using the VoiceOver cursor, and I rarely tab through, so I didn't
think about that.

Re: help adding identity to onePassword

2015-10-12 Thread Nicolai Svendsen
Hi!

If you are tabbing through it and end up in date fields like these, you can use
the VoiceOver keys to adjust it. For example, if it says 10/12/2015, you would
VO-right until VoiceOver would say October 12, 2015. You usually only have to
VO-right once. At this point, you can Interact and then use VO-left and right
to go between month, day and year. Use VO-up and down to adjust the value for
each one. When done, hit Esc and move on, however, do note you can't tab
straight from here into the next field. I recommend you use VO-right to get to
the next one, and you can tab onwards from here if you like.

I can easily understand why this is confusing. It's also worth noting that as
you move with the VoiceOver cursor and land on the date fields, you will often
be taken to the place where you can see the calendar area. When this happens,
you will hear the sound of a new window opening.

They have already submitted the issue regarding labels, and they will look into
that.

Re: help adding identity to onePassword

2015-10-12 Thread Christina C.
That worked. Tabbing didn’t work for me because I could not tell what field I
was in, as you stated. I did get stuck in the birthdate area. I had difficulty
figuring out how to fill that part out and just finally got lucky. I’d
appreciate any tips on that if you understand the date better than I did. I
also seemed to get stuck in there with VO. I finally kept hitting escape a lot
of times and then I finally got out of there. I’m just not exactly sure how I
got out of there.

Thanks,
Christina
