Hello list,
The subject says it all. I am using a braille display and I would like the
phone to be completely silent when using the braille display. How do I go about
turning off the sounds that seem to emanate from the phone while using the
braille display?

I figured it out. Here is how to do it.
Go into settings, choose general, accessibility, VoiceOver.
Swipe down to the roter settings and double tap.
There is a sounds option you can enable that will show up in the router which
will allow you to turn the sounds on and off.

Also, there is in settings right under pitch change within VoiceOver the option
for turning sounds on and off without going to the roter.

finger double tap to turn off voice over speech. that should shut up your I

It's a screen gesture, I think It's a three finger double tap, or something
with 3 fingers. I'm too lazy to look for my phone right now.
