If it will connect to the charger that came with your MacBook Air 2020, then I
would think that it would be OK to use. But I would not use the charger from
your older MacBook Air with the newer Air.

cord that would slide onto the charger block to extend it?
Well, do you think it is ok to use that extender with my new MacBook Air? It
came with my MacBook Air 2011. This is my MacBook Air 2020.
