Hello Leo, I know of no way to get iBooks to read continuously on the Mac. I rarely use iBooks as I find it cumbersome and I buy my ebooks elsewhere. I use Adobe Digital Editions to read ebooks on my Mac, but you still have to press Right Arrow to turn the page. you can reduce the frequency of this by making the font as small as possible. Adobe Digital Editions is easy to use and allows you to read a number of protected formats. I mostly read books from Kobo and usually on my iPhone. You can copy text from Adobe Digital Editions a page at a time by using the VO command Copy last spoken phrase to the clipboard (VO-Shift-c).
