from a flash drive from the mac commandline, you could use speakup to get the

I've recently done a mac training course with a certification exam to come,
this is for el capitan currently but I'll be looking at updating it in early
2017 with a sierra certification as well.
Two sections of the course dealt with problem solving issues within the Mac OS
version,
