I don’t foresee myself getting one either. I think they’re a little late in
the game trying to jump on the bandwaggon now.

What I'd like to know is, does this speaker work like a normal speaker as I
don't want Apple Music. I do have I Cloud Match though.
I am not a fan of Amazon Echo either.
If anyone gets this speaker, please let us know what you think especially if
Air Play works well. I love Airplay.

Google speakers. They created the HomePod to offer a speaker with much better
audio than either Amazon or Google offer. This HomePod works with Apple Music

have done better with this. Not only did they come late to the party,
