Hi,
Really? Wow. That sounds like a horrible experience. For me, it's just as quick
as browsing Mac OS Extended Journaled drives. It might be worth reporting. That
doesn't sound right.

Hi,
If you are new to the Mac, you probably do not want to do this. However, if you
still feel like attempting this, you can enable the read/write to NTFS through
Terminal for a particular volume. That's the free way, but if you are not
careful, you could get potential problems.
I'll repost
Hi Nick and all,
There is a free program that ads NTFS read and write support to mac. It is
called NTFS 3g. You can get this program and it costs nothing.
The coolest part about it is that, in your disk utility, you have the option to
format drives in NTFS if you so desire.

Hi,
Paragon NTFS costs 39 dollars.
However, I've never messed with MacFUSE myself (which is the free product), but
I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

Hi,
Well obviously. ;)
Having more than one solution is always a good idea, and Terminal and Paragon
NTFS are just one of those I chose to outline, regardless of Paragon NTFS
costing a bit of money.
I know of MacFUSE but never got to mess with it, nor the NTFS 3G you're talking
about.
