Re: Safari sweet spot

2020-07-15 Thread Anne Robertson
Hello Ian,
After setting the shortcut, did you check that it showed up in the table? When
setting a shortcut in the Keyboard Commander, you simply press the appropriate
key without the Option key.
Cheers,

Anne

Safari sweet spot

2020-07-15 Thread Ian Harrison
Hi John,

I went into the keyboard commander tab and added a command. I tried command
right option w and command right option a, linking both to the menu command to
set sweet spot. When I tried to apply the command on the Amazon search box I
just get the error sound effect.
Cheers, Ian

2020-07-14 Thread John Panarese
Keep in mind that from my experience, the sweet spot feature has not worked
consistently. Is it that you can’t set the sweet spot or the keyboard command
is not working at all? I will go back and revisit this to see what is going on.

Safari sweet spot

2020-07-14 Thread Ian Harrison
Hi listers, hope you are well.

I am trying to work out a keyboard commander to set a sweet spot on web sites.
I find the existing one too cumbersome.

I want to set the sweet spot on any page that opens to put the cursor in the
search box automatically.

I have tried creating a commander with command, right option and another
letter but it does not seem to work. One thought is that I should delete the
existin shortcut before creating a new one. Can anyone make any suggestions?
With thanks
Ian
