Thanks much for the extra steps and info. Didn’t know about the other two.

Solution: How to Disable Video and Audio AutoPlay in the Latest version of TV OS Native Apps

2022-10-03 Thread M. Taylor
Hello All,

First, let me thank both Raymond and Ed for their excellent support on this.

Second, I have determined that there are 3 settings that must be toggled in
order to insure that VoiceOver has the greatest opportunity to read all of
the relevant info on a video in a native Apple TV OS app.

I will list the steps for all three settings below:

A.
Step 1. From the Settings menu, select Accessibility.
Step 2. Select Motion.
Step 3. Toggle AutoPlay Video Preview to off.

B.
Step 1. From the Settings menu, select Apps.
Step 2. Select TV.
Step 3. Toggle AutoPlay Video Sound to off.

C.
Step 1. From the Settings menu, select Apps.
Step 2. Select iTunes Music and TV Shows.
Step 3. Toggle QuickStart to off.

Enjoy,

Mark
