Yeah, I think the way this list is managed is extremely inefficient. If the
individuals are so busy they can't keep up, then maybe they should get some
help from other assistant moderators or something. Eight months is really
inexcusable.

I would honestly just contact the owner. My wife (Christine Olivares who just
recently joined) had the same problem for about eight months, and that was the
only thing that worked for us.

It actually requires approval by the list owners. Once you send a message to
subscribe, it automatically goes to the list owners for approval. It takes a
week or two, as human intervention is involved. :)
