And So It Begins: Does Anyone Know How to Buy iPhone 14Pro Max with a Physical SIM Tray from within the United States?
Hello Everyone, And so it begins. I was in one of my local Apple stores, yesterday taking a look at iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is my hope to purchase an iPhone 14 model with a physical SIM tray. While discussing this with a store manager, I was somewhat surprised to learn that, according to him, the store has been inundated by customers who only want to buy iPhone 14 with a physical SIM tray. He told me that they are working on crafting an in-store response to the enquiries designed to discouraged customers from seeking a physical SIM tray. He followed that up by saying, "I know you, Mark, and no response is going to keep you from getting that SIM tray model, if that is what you want." (smile) He is a very smart man (smile). So, the search begins. Does anyone know away to purchase an iPhone 14 Pro Max with a physical SIM tray, from within the United States? Some people are saying that if you buy a model from the Apple online store, without designating a wireless provider, that Apple will ship you a model with a physical SIM tray. However, I cannot locate anyone to confirm this. Make no mistake, I'm not above taking a short trek up to Canada to pick up a model but if I can avoid it, I would prefer to do so. I have a friend who is heading to Japan in a couple of weeks and, of course, I could have the friend pick up a model, in Japan, but that makes me somewhat uncomfortable; I don't know why. I think I'd rather go to Canada, in person, to grab a model. All replies greatly appreciated. Mark -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Re: Tray?
I will try VO + shift + J. I don’t mind sharing the site at all but it seems that I am the only who has experienced this on audible.com. I don’t know why but after I am logged in and click on library to download a book onto my Mac the web page is totally different. There is not a table anymore with a download link in the same row as the book I want to download. On the main page of my library in audible, there is some kind of statement saying that Audible has made enhancements to my library. There is a link to change my library from grid view to list view, but neither of those have a link to download the book, only a listen now link that does not seem to do anything. So, in the very different view of my library, if I go down and find the book I want and then click a link called quick look, then I get a popup and voice Over announces “close tray”. I then have to navigate around until I hear download options. Once I click on that Another popup opens but VO seems to lose focus. I don’t think you will be able to try this as a few people have told me that they are not experiencing this change to their library. All I can tell you is that I have had sighted help from two different people and they have confirmed that there is no download button there anymore and they helped me figure out how to download my book Maybe things will go back to normal. I will try again since I have rebooted my Mac and I will try the website again to see if things have gone back to normal. :) Christina > On Apr 16, 2016, at 9:35 AM, Jonathan Cohn <jon.c.c...@gmail.com> wrote: > > I understand that VO-Shift-J should do this, but I have not directly > experienced this working. Re: Tray?
I understand that VO-Shift-J should do this, but I have not directly experienced this working. Would you be willing to share the site, so that somebody else can look at the exact issue? Tray?
I’ve experienced something I haven’t encountered before on Safari. I click on a link and voice Over announces it’s on a close Tray window. A sighted assistant told me it’s some kind of floating popup on the screen. I don’t know if it’s specific to this website where they tagged the close button with “close tray” or if this is a voice Over feature announcing that I am in a “Tray” and I’m pretty confused. :) Sometimes Voice Over cannot seem to focus on this popup floating thingy/window. Is there a way to get voice Over focus to this floating thing/window? Thanks, Christina -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. getting to invisible apps in the system tray?
ok. I seem to be having a problem. I can't seem to get to the growl applet running in the taskbar. its invisible. I can see the clock, the volume control, even the sample scripts but growl isn't there. the reason I ask this is that growl keeps announcing that newer version is averlable and that I should click here to update but I can't seem to find that dialog anywhere on my desktop. I also can't seem to find the announce under mouse function anywhere. this last would help me in finding said invisible applications. any suggestions? -Eric -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group.
