Re: Using LOGITECH Headset for Face Time

2015-09-23 Thread tim
Go into system preferences and find sound. Now do a vo space bar on output and
then select your logitec headphones. Now all will go through its mic when
connected.

Re: Using LOGITECH Headset for Face Time

2015-09-23 Thread Christopher-Mark Gilland
I don't think this is going to work. There has been an issue with Facetime
now for the longest time dating back to Mountain Lion. Even if another
input source is selected, for some reason it insists on routing the input
from the internal mike/line in instead of a secondary USB source. Even if
you switch it over in System Prefs, it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I wish I could be of help, but you're not the only one who's seeing this
behavior.

Chris.

Using LOGITECH Headset for Face Time

2015-09-18 Thread Bill Gallik
I’m using a LogiTech USB headset on my Mac mini; this headset has a mike boom.
When I attempt to make a Face Time phone call the person to whom I’m talking
comes through the internal speaker, how do I direct Face Time to direct
conversation exclusively through the headset - input and output alike?
