Well, that makes thing a little more clear, but after I do the cp command,
where do I find the file that I need to edit? And what do I do when it’s done?

Its useful if you’re using the command line and have to type the sudo command
to allow access to several commands and options.
I guess you type sudo and then the command and press enter and then instead of
entering your password you just use your touchID.
I don’t have a Mac with Touch ID.
