Tidbits.com who also publish the take control books, talked a little about ePub books on the Macintosh yesterday. Apparently the iTunes store now allows purchases of books, and I believe they had two suggestions about reading those books on your non-IOS Apple device. Re: iBooks, iCloud and the Mac
Hi Ricardo! Here is what it said! you can discover and buy your favourite books on the iTunes Store on your computer. You'll find bestsellers, new releases, full-colour illustrated books, books enhanced with audio and video and more — all on the iBookstore on iTunes. Although it did mention the UK itunes at the bottom of the email! hth Colin On 7 Jun 2011, at 20:48, Ricardo Walker wrote: so what did the e-mail say exactly? Thanks. Re: iBooks, iCloud and the Mac
Howard: Don't know about reading on the mac. If the files ae in pub format, and even if they're PDF, at least currently, they can't be read. ICloud is just the storage device. They wold have to make some major changes in iTunes to be able to erad them on the mac. imho Carolyn On Jun 6, 2011, at 7:23 PM, Howard Dupuis wrote: Am I understanding correctly that we'll soon be able to read iBooks on the Mac?
