Hi,
Usually, you can type the word, and if it brings up the suggested corrections,
press Escape. Make sure not to press the space bar or it sometimes just
auto-corrects whatever it feels like. So, once you’ve hit the Escape key, and
if you can confirm that it is spelled the way you want it
Face ID works like a champ. The more you use it, the better it gets. Sunglasses
are not a problem. I've even used it with those goofy Aira Horizon glasses. It
still works after it gots used to them. Face ID will even work in complete
darkness because it emits infrared light.

Hi,
Most tables in Pages are actually miniature Numbers spreadsheets. So, whatever
commands you use in Numbers, should work within the table set into Pages. Now,
if when you press the tab key, it just adds a tab to the Pages layer, then it
sounds like focus is not properly within the table
I have an iPhone XS. It took me a day or two to grow used to Face ID.
The new gestures used in place of the Home button were straightforward.
Not surprisingly, performance was vastly better than that of my iPhone
5S, which the 10S replaced.

Thanks,
Can’t afford an upgrade at the moment but in a couple of years we’ll get the
latest model with Face ID. Who knows what Apple will come up with by then.

Hi all,
I think I fixed it. It was actually an imported Word doc. Once I saved it as a
Pages file, and then reopened it, I was able to tab around the table and enter
text as expected.

Thanks Tim,
I thought I’d give your suggestion a go even before you replied. I wondered
what would happen if I did VO shift M for the contextual menu and now I know.
However the Mac already learned the spelling on that word as I typed it and it
didn’t come up with any corrections this time.
Hi Tim,
I hate spreadsheets, so I’ve never used numbers. Any thoughts about how I might
correct the focus issue? I’ve worked with Paige as documents, but they don’t
typically have tables in them.
Thanks,
Donna

Hi!
I got the same answer to me from them.
Its good though that they’ve noticed and can reproduce the issue.

Hi Petrus,
Yes, it is totally dependent on how you ask. Good work figuring it out for you.

Hi all,
I have to fill out a score sheet in Pages. How do I navigate from one
column/cell to the next, and how do I write in an empty cell? Tabbing just
seems to be leaving tabs in my document. Still haven't upgraded to Catalina, in
case that matters.
TIA,
Donna

Hi all,
Sending this directly after my last email to the group as every time I tried to
type the word Dio the auto correct changed it and I had to go back to fix it.
This time it just gave me nine suggested corrections. How do I add it to the
dictionary so the auto correct will ignore it, as
Hi,
sounds like you fixed it yourself. Good work!
