Several of the keyboard commands described in this article are incorrect, or at
the very least. inaccurately explained.
For example:
1. The command CMD + Tab, does not cycle through open windows. Rather, the
command cycles through open/running applications on your Mac.

Hi,
I've noticed lately that my vo volume tends to vary at times. It mostly
happens when I am scrolling through a website. I am running big sur on a 2013
macbook air.
While this isn't a huge deal, it's very annoying to me so I'd like to fix it.
Anybody know why this happens and what to do
Try turning off Audio Ducking, and see if that makes any difference.

On a related note, I have found that VO volume is very erratic when using
CarPlay. It will be normal, then suddenly *very* loud, then it’ll go back to
normal, then loud, etc. Anyone know of a way to deal with this? It’s super
annoying.
Cheers,
Donna

I have sudden volume changes when starting with stopping zoom calls or when using Siri but I’m assuming this is because they have separate volumes associated with them and they’re getting in the way of the voiceover volume temporarily.Sent from my iPhoneOn Feb 25, 2023, at 9:18 AM, Mickey Quenzer
Does it go up and down, or just fades out?

other than my primary one. I press vo-shift-m for the context menu and arrow
down to “copy link.” I’ve tried both vo-space and enter at different times to
activate it. when I go to paste it into the address bar of
yes. I do that./

It seems to both fade out and get softer, then does the opposite. Very
annoying! lol

Hi Max, hi just stop interacting with the mailboxes table once I've gotten to
all Lynn boxes. And then go down to where it says messages. This will place you
in a mailbox with all of your messages.

The Shortcut menu on the Mac,, is the same thing as an applications menu in
Windows.
You can open the Shortcut menu for an item in MacOS, using the VoiceOver
command VO + Shift + M.
Then navigate the menu using arrow keys, and press Enter to select a menu item.

On Feb 25,
Which version of MacOS are you running? I have not been able to upgrade to
Ventura since I am using a 2015 MacBook AIR. In this system, there is a
Internet Accounts area in the System Settings program. For each type of
Internet account that you have, there is a list of features to enable
Rather than using arrow keys to navigate to the link, try navigating to the
link using VO + CMD + L, and then try either using the Shortcut menu to select
Copy Link, or use VO + Shift + C, to copy the last phrase spoken by VoiceOver,
which should have been the URL.

OK.
First if you hit tab twice from the file name area you should get to a “where
popup menu”. If you open this there will be several choices.
For more choices, there is a “disclosure “"show more options disclosure
triangle that is one more tab stop away. When clicked this will expose a panel
I’m using vo-command-l to land on the link but I don’t know anything about the
shortcut menu. please brief me.

ok. I guess I use windows terminology then because I call that the context
menu. I was using that and arrowing down to “copy.” I might try copying the
current line to my clipboard. that works on open drive.

Decided to install TB and give it a go. Its laid out same as the
Windows version. Its fairly accessible with Voiceover but there are some
things that appear not to be.
Anyone install TB on your Mac?

If I'm not mistaken, you can also do a command f1 to get to the all mail
