It’s possible you need to hit the fn key as well. Depending on how you have
your function keys set up.

Hello everyone,
I'm becoming involved in a project which uses Finalcut for video and
audio editing. From the descriptions I have read about this program it
sounds like the interface is pretty visual. Is Finalcut at all usable
with Voiceover? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I have never used it myself, but I have heard other blind people who have and
they say it is very accessible. I am pretty sure there are even some youtube
videos talking about its accessibility.
