Thanks, Jason, but I think the Cmd-Option J is a better option.  Cmd-Shift 
Backspace just empties the trash.

The command-Option J is a new one to me.  I knew there was something with the 
backspace key, but I’ve never heard of this one.  I’ll give it a try.

I don’t have any Junk mail to try this, but you can try “CMD OPTION j”, it 
clears the Junk mailbox.
