As an alternative, if you do not want to select and copy the entire message,
you can navigate using the down arrow key to the point at which you would like
to begin copying content, and then hold down the Shift key, while continuing to
press the down arrow key, until you reach the end of the
the way I do this is to open the email, interact with the text in it, press
command a to select all and then command c to copy. that usually works.
sometimes you have to delete out the irrelivant parts afterwards.

I opened email, I went to inbox. I saw the message and I pressed enter.
I Pressed menu to select, and it was selected. But when I pressed menu c to
