The trick to doing audio description on Netflix is as follows.
1. Start a show.
2. Pause it by pressing and holding in the select button on your third gen
Apple TV.
3. Now, arrow up once and then go right once until you hear “audio.
4. Now, go down until you hear “English audio
There is a setting to turn on or off audio description, but it appears to only
work in the iTunes store where movies and TV shows contain audio description.

Voiceover, and it mentioned that AD can be accessed under language. I
don't see a
Amazon is actively working on accessibility however. It’s not where Apple TV
is but it’s catching up. I have a Fire TV box and it’s very good for viewing
Amazon content. The applications are starting to work but they don’t reliably

Hey Scott,
Didn't know the financial info, interesting. I hate to do it, we've been happy
with Netflix, but may be time to switch to Amazon.
