Re: Electronically signing a PDF file

2022-09-02 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries

Tim,
Am revisiting this since replies seem to have gone poof.

I think I will focus on using PDFpen for electronic signatures. I
had taken a look to see how its done but didn't find what I needed. Have
you also done this with PDFpen? Thanks.

Methinks I will enlist sighted help too. I cannot tell how big m
signature might be. I need full name as well as initials so this will be
a good project.

Now when I need to apply a signature, will I use the same Sign
button in the Edit toolbar? This was not clear to me. I'm guessing I
need to interact with an edit field?

This relates to my not getting along with DocuSign. I had to keep
telling the company I want any forms to be sent to me. I think I made
prgress and the company can shop my new upgraded cochlear implant
hearing processors. Once I give them the oopay, If I actually wrap this
up today, I can get back to other projects.

Re: Electronically signing a PDF file

2022-08-11 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries

Hi Tim,
Sounds simple enough. Found a stylus and tried it using the Magic
Trackpad. After electing the Sign button, when I try to create a
signature, I just get those bong sounds. Did I miss a step? I'm focused
ion the edit filed that says something about the signature.

VO-space on the Sign button.  You can create a signature here by using
your finger on the Trackpad, use a mouse, or a stylus on the TrackPad.
The signature can be save for future use as well.

The only problem I’ve encountered is knowing where the signature is
placed in reference to the signature line and if it needs resized at
all.  There may be a method to figure this out, but I just haven’t spent
enough time on it yet.

Re: Electronically signing a PDF file

2022-08-10 Thread Gabe Griffith
Thanks Tim. I have an electronic signature already saved so was thinking more
along trying to insert that. I hadn't even thought about being able to sign
using the trackpad.
