I use FineReader Pro for several reasons.
I never know whether a document will be in French or English, and FineReader 
can handle up to three languages in one document, so for my purposes, it’s 
ideal.
FineReader Pro offers about a dozen different types of output.
I also find it easy to use.
I used to own Prizmo for the Mac as well, but they’ve changed it and I no 
longer have access to updates. Other people, however, say it’s good and costs 
about half as much as FineReader Pro.
