Re: Turning vo on and off in lion problem?
Hmm, and I awssume that obviously not, your speech itself isn't muted, and your speaker volume both in OSX as well as on your external speakers, if you even have any at all, are turned up? Re: Turning vo on and off in lion problem?
OK wait a minute though. Are you using an apple bluetooth wireless keyboard, or a macbook? Remember, if you have your function keys said as they are by default to hardware, and if you have an fn key on your keyboard, then in that scenareo, you'd need to do fn+Command+F5... not just command+F5. Aside that, it should be working. I've not experienced this issue. Re: Turning vo on and off in lion problem?
Very odd. Are you typing this with VO off? I'm surprised it isn't working, either cmd-f5 or fn-cmd-f5 should have worked. I've never ran into a situation where they don't. Best, Zack. Hi, Did you try fn-cmd-f5? WHen I first installed Lion I had to re-toggle the keyboard preference about using function keys for hardware functions. Best, Zack.
