  I've had the same problem with windows seven on a MacBook air and I found 
that it after a while it calms down but it takes quite a while. I've determined 
that it's doing an off a lot of windows updating and that's what's keeping it 
running hot.

windows is fairly intensive and your I7 almost certainly is engaging turbo 
mode.  You probably also hear your fans go in to over drive.  This is common on 
the air as well.  I think it’s just a matter of running an operating system 
under another operating system is pretty CPU intensive.  You could try 
allocating fewer cores or less memory but I suspect you won’t gain much.
 

Mine tends to calm down as things settle down and it sounds like our MacBooks 
are similarly configured.
