The answer to all of your questions is yes. But teams is very integrated with exchange and MS Office and I would personally prefer using FaceTime I believe they have the same free call limits and FaceTime is better integrated into the Apple environment.butSent from my iPhoneOn Jul 21, 2024, at 7:29 PM, Herbie Allen wrote:Um, is that really a rabbit hole you want to go down? This is a Security thing on the Mac.
Safari is asking for your permission to open this URL in the zoom app.
You need to select allow, and the meeting will open in the zoom app.

Assuming the meeting is already open, try doing a Command Accent and see if
there are any other windows open? If it’s being recorded you should get a

Re: Zoom on a Mac

2020-08-23 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Then go in to settings on the phone
Locate the item that shows your account - its the first item on mine.
Navigate to the option for “display name” and activate.
You should represented with your currently displayed name in there, clear it
and add what you need.

This will show up on all devices that use your devices once you have saved it.

thanks. Honestly, they really should take advantage of apples App Store for
things like this. Then again, perhaps they don’t like the draconian control

Re: Zoom on a Mac

2020-08-22 Thread Robert Carter
Hi Lorie,

When you are in a Zoom meeting, bring up the list of users with command+u.
Select your name and choose the more options menu. In that menu, you will have
an option that says rename. If you choose that, your name will be in an edit
box. You can then change it.

Re: Zoom on a Mac

2020-08-21 Thread Eric Oyen
Big giant question, which package do I choose out of the App Store here.
Several meet the conditions for the name and all appear to have similar
features but none of them are expkicitly named zoom.

Re: Zoom on a Mac

2020-08-21 Thread Robert Carter
Hi Lorie,

VO+space on your name to bring up the profile menu. Interact with the personal
note item. You can then vo+right arrow to get to an edit box where you can
type. If you VO+right arrow again, you will get to a clear button where you can
clear the edit box if needed.
