Jenine, You might look in to the M-Audio Fast Track or Fast Track Pro. Those work pretty well with Mac. But, I believe they're only 2 channel for the XLR's. On-the-other-hand, they're are more expensive models by the same manufacturer with 4-channels. Also, depending on your Mac, your not
