I honestly know nothing about charging a device wirelessly, and it almost

In a couple of years I may have an 11 pro max to update if you were interested?

Mind you if there is a new phone out in 2 years I might be lucky to be able to

I honestly know nothing about charging a device wirelessly, and it almost

Re: iPhone X questions.

2020-05-27 Thread Petrus Tuerlings
I have an 8+ at the moment, I’m sure my wife and I will get a couple more years
out of it. I’m not worried about upgrading to Face ID in the future. I am
curious however. Is it smart enough to work out when one is wearing sun glasses
or no glasses if one normally wears them and wants to unlock the phone when
they haven’t got their glass’s on?

2020-05-27 Thread 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries
I have an iPhone XS. It took me a day or two to grow used to Face ID.
The new gestures used in place of the Home button were straightforward.

Not surprisingly, performance was vastly better than that of my iPhone
5S, which the 10S replaced.

Re: iPhone X questions.

2020-05-26 Thread Jonathan Cohn
I was just reading a CNet article about charging today. The general
recommendation was to ry and keep your battery between 30-80% charged for
maximum battery life. It also mentioned that the quick chargers are designed to
push a lot of charge initially and then reduce the charging as the battery gets
closer to full. I think they were saying when you don't need the full life of
the battery, a 30 minute charge with a quick charger should give you 50% charge.
