 That looks like your interface is automagically renamed to ath0. Find the
 culprit and turn this off. Refer also to

 the troubleshooting guide].

 I think there is some stale state, causing the Madwifi driver to create
 the device as ath0 rather than wifi0. Please see my comments on ticket
 #257.
