Hi,
I'm searching libimlayout package that is mentioned
"How to extend Hildon Input Methods" document page.
Where can I get it?
I found it in branch revision 609 and built and installed,
but it requires libimlayouts0, too.

I changed to "en_GB" so "Keyboard (SDK)" can be selected.
Of couse my plugin seems to work when I select it.
So I don't need to specify "ja_JP" as second language any more.

both "Keyboard" and "Handwriting" are disabled.
Should I use different name such as "Keyboard (SDK)" ?

Subjec
But I just modified the sample code and installed to scratchbox,
the input method is relaced to new one. Maemo 3.0 does not support
selecting 2nd lang from the menu of the input method.
So I'm afraid the plugin is not "just plugin", it replaces
the original one completly. Is it correct?
Now I'm trying to support Japanese :)
I have installed anthy as backend to my scrachbox and now customizing
default IM to use it, but I need to look into a lot of things
to finish it...

tabs on the thumb keyboard. In fact, having
the xml versions of the .vkb files deployed on the device would really
help understanding how to achieve the "abc/ABC click on the same tab
changes the case" behavior. Is there any plan to make these .xml files
available ?

Hi,
I encountered the similar random reboot on N800.
I can get free WiFi access from my home, so I just tried to connect
it but N800 couldn't, and it seems to try to connect several times
or presence status tried to update the status,
and then N800 rebooted suddenly.
In addition, I have DELL lapt
ot met; consider adjusting
the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard
prefix so pkg-config can find them.
As tutorial, the components are required but how can I get them?

All,
I used ja_JP.UTF-8 instead of ja or ja_JP, so now I can see
localized GUI! Thank you for advices.

Hi All,
Thank you for the input, but it seems stil does not work for me.
I will investigate the reason tomorrow again.
I just want to let you know the current status.
FYI, the following is what I did.
- installed locales-...deb as you mentioned
- execute "souce /etc/osso-af-init/af-defines.sh" to
to /usr/share/fonts).
