[maemo-developers] SDK install successful, but . . .

I start up the development with:

        af-sb-init.sh start
and the empty xephyr window is filled with something that looks nothing 
like the regular user interface shows up, but with an extra box that states:

        Unable to open.  Not enough memory.

What's going on here?
